ربنا يسهلها على المركز والمستشفى يارب العالمين

We had a truly significant day at the Mycetoma Research Centre (MRC) as we were highly honoured to host Prof. Aradib, Vice Chancellor of the جامعة الخرطوم University of Khartoum!

Prof. Aradib dedicated time to tour several key premises of the Centre, gaining firsthand insight into our ongoing scientific work. His visit demonstrates a profound commitment to research and innovation.

We are profoundly grateful for his personal engagement and the crucial support he has provided to the Centre. This clear commitment from the leadership of the University of Khartoum is absolutely vital for advancing our shared mission in medical science and public health.

We look forward to a continued and strengthened partnership that drives innovation and positively impacts our community

Dama Project Annual Meeting – Cairo, November 2025

We were delighted to hold the Dama Project Annual Meeting in Cairo on November 22–23, 2025. The gathering brought together project partners to review achievements, discuss progress, and plan the next steps for strengthening data systems that support mycetoma research.

The Dama Project (Data Analytics for Mycetoma Research Centre) is a collaboration between the Mycetoma Research Centre (MRC) in Khartoum, the Comboni College of Science and Technology (CCST), and the Institute of Reliable Embedded Systems and Communication Electronics (ivESK) at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
Through this partnership, the project is establishing a solid foundation in database management and data preprocessing. This work will support future analysis of data from more than 12,000 mycetoma patients treated at the MRC over the past 30 years—an important step toward improving understanding, diagnosis, and treatment.

Funding is provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with support from the German Federal Foreign Office under the Ta’ziz Short-Term Measures program.

This collaboration highlights the power of international partnerships in advancing research, innovation, and capacity-building in the fight against mycetoma
